Argot made in UCLA

Pour mon cours sur l'Anglais Etatsunien du mercredi, je suis en train d'écrire un essai sur l'argot. Voici un florilège d'expressions très colorées spécifiques à UCLA (même s'il est très propable, étant donné la nature même de l'argot, que la jeunesse estudiantine étatsunienne en général connaisse, voire utilise, ces perles linguistiques). Je vous fais grâce de la vulgarité la plus basse qui abonde dans n'importe quel argot... Les métaphores valent quand même leur pesant de cacahuètes !

• to be falling on one's ass = to be drunk
• to be the bomb = to be da bomb = to be the best, to be unforgettable, to be divine
• B.F.D = a problem (from Big F*** Deal)
• butterface = female with an unattractive face but an attractive body (from 'she has a hot body but her face...')
• cancer stick = cigarette
• to bust a move = to cut up the rug =to dance
• D.D.F = visual effect that occurs when a male sees a female from afar and thinks she's attractive, but finds out she is not when he sees her from close up (from Distance Distortion Factor)
• to do the horizontal tango = to do the nasty = to do the wild thing = to have sex
• to drive the bus = to vomit
• F.O.B = a person with the characteristics of a recent immigrant (from Fresh Off the Boat)
• ghetto bird = police helicopter
• guns = biceps
• halitosis of the feet = foot odor
• happy trail = stairway to heaven = line of hair from the navel to the pubic area
• to have a great/nice personality = to be ugly
• to have a great prayer life = to be attractive
• if the van is a-rockin', don't come a-knockin' = leave me alone, I'm having sex
• MILF = an attractive older female (from Mother I'd Love to F***)
• P.D.A = Public Display of Affection
• to play tonsil hockey = to French-kiss (tonsil = amygdale)
• random = spontaneous, unpredictable; unconnected; nonsensical
• to rest one's neck = to shut up
• to shoot the shit = to talk, to chat
• to smell bacon = to smell the rpesence of the police nearby
• to space/zone out = not to pay attention
• tore up from the floor up = very ugly
• to pray the porcelain god = to vomit
• U.S.C = University of Second Choice, of Spoiled Children, of Scholastic Cripples, of Second Class...
